IB is responsible for implementing Zukunftsprogramm Arbeit (ZPA). ZPA is a regional development programme for the employment market in Schleswig-Holstein (2007 – 2013).

The goals are to reduce youth unemployment and to integrate disadvantaged people into the job market. The programme is financed by Schleswig-Holstein and the European Social Fund.

IB is responsible for the settlement of grants for investments in the economy in the context of Zukunftsprogramm Wirtschaft (ZPW). ZPW is a regional development programme to stimulate the economy in Schleswig-Holstein (2007 – 2013).

The goals are to promote technology transfer, to strengthen the economic-oriented infrastructure, e.g. measures for sustainable development and for industries with new technology and to increase the competitiveness of regional companies by providing new corporate financing instruments focused on SMEs. ZPW is financed by Schleswig-Holstein and the European Regional Development Fund.
